Codex GA4 Backend

Codex GA4 Backend is a private local integration operated by Ryan Mueller. Ryan uses it with authorized Google accounts to retrieve Google Analytics reports, inspect account and property settings, and perform supported configuration edits that he requests.

The integration uses Google's Analytics Data API, Analytics Admin API, and official Analytics MCP server. Ryan runs the tools locally and works with the results through Codex. Access depends on each connected Google account's permissions. This integration is for private use and is not offered as a public hosted service.

Privacy

Information accessed. When you authorize a Google account, the integration requests your Google account email to verify your identity, permission to read Google Analytics data, and permission to edit supported Analytics settings. Depending on your requests and Google permissions, Ryan can retrieve account and property details, reports, events, metrics, dimensions, and configuration information.

Purpose and use. Ryan uses this information to answer analytics questions, prepare requested reports, inspect configuration, and carry out requested configuration changes. This integration does not use Google data for advertising, sell it, or provide it to data brokers.

Local storage and processing. Ryan stores OAuth client credentials and account refresh credentials on the local computer with restricted filesystem permissions. These credentials allow the tools to refresh access after initial authorization. Ryan may pass report and configuration output to Codex/OpenAI to fulfill requests. Processing there is subject to the applicable OpenAI terms, privacy policy, and account settings.

Retention. Local credential files remain until they are deleted; revoking Google authorization ends their access. Saved reports and configuration output may remain in workspace files and chat items until those items are deleted. Disconnecting Google access does not automatically delete previously saved output.

Disconnecting. Revoke the integration's access through your Google Account connections, then delete its local credential files. Delete saved workspace files or chat items separately if you also want to remove those records.

For questions about this integration or its stored data, contact Ryan Mueller at alphacotv@gmail.com.

Terms of use

Ryan Mueller operates this integration for private use with Google accounts and Analytics properties he is authorized to access. Use is limited to requests within those permissions.

Google authorization enables API access. Configuration edits require a user request and are limited to operations supported by Google's APIs and the connected account's role. Review the intended property and requested change before execution.

Google and OpenAI services remain subject to their respective terms and account settings. Their permissions, API limits, and availability affect which requests can be completed. Ryan can disconnect an account or stop using the local integration at any time.
